What’s happening at the Ossian Library this summer?

May 31- August 15—you can earn a Champion Reader Lawn sign. Contact Library for Details.

June 4th 1-3 pm—“Community Read Day” Cather in the Ossian City Park to read. Come and go as your schedule allows.  Bring something to read and something to sit on. Let’s fill the park with readers! (Inclement weather location is the Ossian Community Center.)

June 6Summer Reading Program begins Mondays at 10 am Storytimes and Wednesday’s 2:00 to 6:30 pm.  Drop-in-Crafts.  More information or 532- 9461.

June 9, Thursday 6:30 pm—“Animal  Olympics” When it comes to animals, who would take gold? We’ll learn about the fastest sprinters, greatest jumpers, deepest divers, and most aerobatic gymnasts of the animal world!

June 16 Thursday 6:30 pm—“Fitness for All Ages” Everyone is invited to this program about fitness, will focus on Stretching and balance exercises. Dress to move and bring a towel to aid stretches.

June 21, Tuesday 10 am- “Mad Mixture” Grout Museum will present a science program that will keep students engaged. This program is a must see.

July 11 6:30 pm“Get in the Game” program begins.  This program is for students entering 5th grade and up.  We have a different activity for each Monday.
